Jesus rebukes the disciples for being slow to believe all the prophets spoke, identifies the Christ’s suffering and entry into glory as necessary, and explains the things concerning himself beginning with Moses and all the prophets, in all the Scriptures. The wording presents a reading across Scripture; it does not say each individual verse directly predicts him.
