Jesus promises another Counselor, identifies him as the Holy Spirit and Spirit of truth, and says the Father will send him in Jesus’ name and Jesus will send him from the Father. The stated work is to teach, remind and testify. Sender and sent one remain distinct; this describes the mission without specifying a lesser kind of being.
