Jesus attributes the Genesis marriage statement to the Creator and calls the Exodus words his hearers read speech addressed to them by God. The Genesis statement appears in narrative, so this attribution is not confined to passages introduced as direct divine quotations. These examples do not themselves enumerate all Scripture.
